To help you get to know our people better, we’d like to introduce you to your local bankers and give you a peek inside some of the new upgrades we've made to our banking centers in Greater Hartford, Connecticut.

When you walk into our City Place banking center in Hartford, you’ll be warmly greeted by a team of with over 73 years experience who know their customers by name. This freshly remodeled banking center features our new pod design where you can pull up a chair and have a more engaging conversation with your banker in one of several languages. The team at City Place is fluent in multiple languages, including Spanish and Portuguese.

Shirvani Seepersad is the banking center manager at City Place in Hartford. Fifteen years experience working for a variety of Hartford banks  means that Shirvani brings a valuable and unique perspective on the market to her customers and her team. 

Her leadership mantra is to treat everyone with respect, professionalism and punctuality.   Shirvani and her team give back to the Hartford community by volunteering with Hands on Hartford, the United Way, and Rebuilding Together Hartford. As a mother of two, she loves spending time with her family and loves to dance and sing.

Welcome to your new banking center in the Copaco Shopping Center in Bloomfield. This location features our new state-of-the-art design, complete with extended hours, and the convenience of both a drive-up teller and ATM services. If you used to bank with us at 782 Park Avenue in Bloomfield, or 410 Homestead Avenue in Hartford, you’ll feel welcome knowing that we brought together both teams under one roof, under the leadership of Steven C. Taylor.

Steven C. Taylor

Leading the team is Steven C. Taylor, Sr., who got his start as an assistant manager at Webster’s City Place in 2008, and was promoted to manager in less than a year. As a former point guard and captain of the state championship basketball team at Windsor High School, he now puts his talents to work by coaching youth football and basketball.  

Steven and his team give back to the Bloomfield community by volunteering for Rebuilding Together and donating to Webster’s local food drives. He is also a member of HYPE and Leadership Greater Hartford and is enrolled in their Quest program. He also serves on the board for the Wilson Grey YMCA.

Leading the team is our newest edition to the Webster family, Judy Casperson, who brings her 14 years of wealth management experience and passion for living in West Hartford together for the benefit of her clients and team.  

Judy is currently serving her third term as Town Councilor for West Hartford and is the Chairperson on the town’s Human Service Committee . She serves on the board for the Greater Hartford YWCA , and on the board for Playhouse on Park . She is also a member of the Connecticut Women’s Council , and the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce . In her free time, Judy enjoys traveling and skiing. She’s speaks both French and German, and is now learning Spanish.

When you bank with us at Bishop’s Corner in West Hartford you may recognize some familiar faces. That’s because we’ve served families of multiple generations here, giving this location the nickname the “neighborhood bank”.  Some of our customers visit up to three times a day.

 

William Webster, Bishop's CornerMeet William

William Webster has been leading our banking center in Bishop's Corner since 2006, and is another committed member of the West Hartford community. He serves as Executive Director for Journey Home, is board chairman for Explorers, serves on the board for the Bishops Corner Neighborhood advisory board, and the Bishop’s Corner Neighborhood Association. He also volunteers at Jewish Family Services, and is a member of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce.

William honed his talents while working in hospitality for over 20 years, and even developed and opened his own business. His work at Starbucks in Bishop’s Corner was featured in the New York Times as a model for exemplary customer service.
