Why did I receive a 1099-MISC or 1099-INT?

You may receive either a1099-MISC or a 1099-INT if you received any incentive or promotional payments. You may also receive these forms if you had ATM surcharges rebated or interest earned on a mortgage escrow account during the tax year.

What if I need a duplicate tax form?

You can view, print or download your tax form online any time it's convenient for you. But if you ever need a duplicate copy of your tax forms, you can visit any banking center location, telephone our Customer Care Center at 800.995.9995, or mail a request to: Customer Service Department, P.O. Box 10305, WFD 730, Waterbury, CT 06726.

Why did I not receive my tax form in the mail?

A 1099 statement will not be mailed or available online if the combined interest earned is less than $10.00. If you paid less than $600.00 in loan interest last year, you will also not receive a 1098.

Paper copies of your tax forms will not be delivered by mail if your Banking Notices preference is electronic. You can update your Banking Notices preferences at anytime by visiting the eDelivery Preferences area in your WebsterOnline profile.

I did not receive my tax form in the mail and there is no tax form online?

Why did I get my loan interest on my loan bill?

In some cases, your Mortgage Interest Statement (1098 form) may be included on a combined bill along with your December statement. In this case, you will not receive a standalone 1098 interest statement online.

Is my online tax form the official statement I can give to the IRS?

Yes, the tax form you download and print from our website is the same as you would get in the mail and is on Webster Bank letterhead.

Will my corrected tax forms be available online?

Yes, your corrected tax forms will be available online as soon as we process the information. Corrected tax forms will include the word "corrected" next to the form name so you can easily identify them. Once your corrected tax forms are available online, an external email will be sent to the email address in your Online Profile.

What if I need to make a correction or update my information?

If a correction is required, you can visit any banking center location, telephone our Customer Care Center at 800.995.9995, or by mailing a request to: Customer Service Department, P.O. Box 10305, WFD 730, Waterbury, CT 06726.

Do I need any special software to view and print my tax forms?

Tax forms are available online as a PDF document. You will need to use Adobe Reader to view, print or download your tax forms. If you do not have Adobe Reader, you can download it from the Tax Forms page or by clicking here.

How will I know when my tax forms are available online?

Once your tax forms are available online, an external email will be sent to the email address in your Online Profile.
