COVID-19: Five Steps to Protect Your Finances

#1 | Be wary of cyber scammers.

Unfortunately, cyber scammers are already taking advantage of the current crisis. Be wary of emails with suspicious attachments or links to websites that try to trick victims into revealing sensitive information or donating to fraudulent charities or causes.

Webster Bank will never call you and ask for your PIN or social security number.

#2 | Establish remote access to your bank accounts.

Webster is taking all appropriate steps to keep our customers and our employees healthy. #3 | Don’t make rash decisions about your long-term investment plan

Even with the current market disruption, it’s important to maintain a clear vision of your long-term financial goals and the plan you have for getting there. Sometimes this means staying the course and following your long-term plan.
