Alice Spinella is Executive Vice President, Technology Research, Transformation and Data Governance
Alice Spinella is Executive Vice President, Technology Research, Transformation and Data Governance and leads the Program Management Office and Office of Transformation.
In her role, Alice focuses on how technology trends impact the bank’s business model, and she will evolve governance processes to support agile software development by streamlining end-to-end approval processes. Alice also leads Data Governance to enhance Webster’s “Data to Decision,” partnering with stakeholders across the company in using data and analytics to prioritize critical decisions.
Alice joined Webster in 1981 as a teller, and has held senior leadership positions in lending, retail branches and customer care center, investments and insurance, distribution planning and information technology.
Alice has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She obtained a Series 7 and 24 investment licenses and Webster Business Mastery Certification from the University of Connecticut.
Alice resides in Wolcott, Connecticut with her husband, Ralph. She is an active volunteer with the United Way and the Arabian Horseman’s Distress Fund.
