Jason Soto

Jason Soto is Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer of Webster Bank (NYSE:WBS), a leading commercial bank with more than $70 billion in assets. In his role, Jason has overall responsibility for credit execution including approvals, governance and analytics.

Jason joined Webster as senior credit executive, supporting the Middle Market Banking and Sponsor & Specialty Finance Groups. Prior to joining Webster, Jason had a long and distinguished career in credit risk management at GE Capital.

James is a member of the board of Families First, in Watertown, Mass., a nonprofit focused on early childhood parent education. He also has volunteered with Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, and as a local elementary school mentor.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
