Michael L. O'Connor

Mike O’Connor, Esq., is Regional President for the Waterbury, Conn. market. He joined Webster in March of 2012 and is responsible for all aspects of the bank’s corporate real estate portfolio consisting of 180 properties and approximately 1.3 million square feet.

Mike has more than 20 years of experience in real estate and construction. Additionally, Mike is retired from the United States Army after serving more than 26 years as an Officer in the Reserves, National Guard and Active Army. Mike was recalled to active duty twice after September 11th. In 2004, Mike served a combat tour in Afghanistan with 3rd Battalion 3rd Special Forces Group Airborne, earning a Bronze Star. In 2011, Mike served on the Army staff, Office of the Judge Advocate General, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Living up to the communities he serves, Mike currently is on the board of directors of the Palace Theater, is a member of the Greater Waterbury United Way, and is past chair of the board of directors of the Greater Waterbury YMCA.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree at High Point College and his JD at Ohio Northern University.
