The Small Business Administration released a much-anticipated, streamlined loan forgiveness application for PPP loans totaling $50,000 or less. Additionally, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Flexibility Act provides additional flexibility within the forgiveness component of the Act. We encourage our PPP customers to check in regularly at the US Department of Treasury and the SBA for more information.

Webster’s Small Business Administration PPP forgiveness application process is now available. When you are ready to apply for loan forgiveness, we’re ready. To get started, visit our PPP page to download the application and submit your documentation.

The Small Business Administration’s (SBA) application deadline for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loans expired at 11:59pm, August 8, 2020. Webster is no longer accepting PPP applications. You may have heard that Congress is discussing new legislation. If legislation is passed and signed into law, we stand ready to resume accepting new PPP applications.

To further assist with electronic banking options during this time, customers can now use our Mobile Banking app to deposit government stimulus checks as well as checks issued by the IRS. Additionally, daily ATM withdrawal limits have been temporarily increased to $1,000 per day.
